By plane
The nearest airport is Bastia – Poretta.
From the airport, the village can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car (rental, taxi or personal vehicle).

By ferry
The main sea links from:
France (Marseille, Toulon, Nice)
Italy (Livorno, Savona) arrive directly at the port of Bastia.
Once disembarked, it is only a 20-minute drive to reach Poggio-d'Oletta.

By Train
The train in Corsica mainly serves large cities like Bastia, Ajaccio, and Calvi, as well as intermediate points like Ponte-Leccia.
To come to Poggio d'Oletta by train, you could:
1. Take a train to Bastia, which is the nearest major city served by the Corsican rail network.
2. From Bastia, rent a car or take a taxi for the remaining 30 kilometers to Poggio d'Oletta.
It is also possible to take a train to Ponte-Leccia and continue the journey by taxi, although this involves an additional transfer and is less direct than from Bastia

By car
The easiest way to get from Menta to Poggio d'Oletta is from Bastia, about 20 kilometers away. By car, simply follow the D81 towards Saint-Florent, then take the D82 towards Poggio d'Oletta. The journey offers magnificent mountain and vineyard scenery and takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. This area is also well served by taxis or car rentals for added flexibility.

By Bike
To reach Menta and Poggio d'Oletta by bike from anywhere in Corsica, you can take advantage of the road network that connects the different regions of the island. Here are some tips for planning your route:
1. From the north of Corsica (Bastia, Saint-Florent):
• From Bastia, take the D81 towards Saint-Florent, then join the D82 to arrive at Poggio d'Oletta. The journey is hilly, with approximately 30 km from Bastia.
• From Saint-Florent, the route is shorter and direct via the D82, approximately 10 km from Poggio d'Oletta.
2. From the south (Ajaccio, Propriano):
• From these areas, it is best to reach Bastia or Ponte-Leccia via the N193, then follow the route described above to reach Poggio d'Oletta. The distance is greater (about 150 km from Ajaccio), with many passes to cross.
3. From the west (Calvi, L'Île-Rousse):
• You can reach Ponte-Leccia via the D81 crossing magnificent mountainous landscapes, then follow the road towards Saint-Florent and finally Poggio d'Oletta via the D82.
